Transforming Paper Waste
into Everyday Objects.

Discover Our Work

We develop 100% bio-based materials that are functional, durable, and expressive - uncovering the hidden narratives embedded in used materials.
From concept to craft, our approach is low-impact, accessible, and rooted in circular thinking.

Through every object, workshop, and partnership, we challenge linear and centralised systems, and invite reflections on material circularity and sustainable making.

Join Our Mission

Our mission is to shift the perception of waste - from an endpoint to the beginning of a new narrative - driven by material innovation and collective engagement.

We strive to build a collaborative ecosystem where everyone is invited to rethink how materials are sourced, used, and reimagined over time.

Rethinking Paper Waste

Each year, millions of tonnes of paper fibres are discarded long before their potential is used. After just 5-7 cycles, fibres weaken and turn into “unrecyclable” paper sludge - most often incinerated, wasting resources and driving CO₂ emissions.

Traditional recycling cannot close the loop. We need new circular pathways that extend fibre lifecycles and transform waste into lasting value.

Paprix: Our Material

Paprix transforms post-consumer and industrial paper waste into durable, modular materials for interiors. With only bio-binders and low-energy processes, it offers a circular, low-carbon alternative to MDF and PET panels.

Locally sourced and designed for reuse, Paprix delivers visual richness, tactile depth, and acoustic performance - crafted with care for our shared material resources.

Reduced CO2 E Every m³ of Paprix diverts 290 kg CO₂ that would otherwise result from incinerating fibers
Waste-based Made from 100% recycled material
Local production Manufacturing from local-sourced paper waste
Recyclable Can be fully recycled into the same loop
Manufacturable Can go through manufacture process like CNC, lasercut; Paprix is as workable as wood
Durable Initial field test indicates one Paprix Block can withstand > 250 kg without deformation
Water resistance coating available Accepts natural coatings without losing recyclability
Variant appearance 12 Colors and 3 variations available
Light-weighted 42% reduced compared to MDF of the same volume

Our Partners

We transform paper waste into 100% bio-based materials that are functional, durable, and expressive with our partners.

We collaborate with businesses, municipalities, and institutions to:

  • upcycle their paper waste into products and events
  • co-create bespoke objects, interior panels, and furniture from paper waste
  • integrate our bio-based paper materials into existing product lines

Together, we co-develop regenerative material strategies that support decarbonization, circular procurement, and sustainable branding at scale.
